How the Data Analyst Agent works
The Data Analyst Agent sits on top of the data you already govern. A question goes in as plain language; an answer comes back with the reasoning and the sources attached.

In plain language
Ask the question the way you would ask an analyst. When a request is ambiguous, the Data Analyst Agent asks a clarifying question rather than guessing.
02 · Resolve
Through the semantic layer
Metrics, dimensions and access rules are defined once in the Context Graph, so “revenue” means the same thing to the Data Analyst Agent as it does to finance.
03 · Investigate
Follow the number to its cause
The Data Analyst Agent runs the follow-up queries an analyst would — segment, compare, test the obvious explanations — and reports what actually moved.
04 · Trust
Every figure carries its lineage
Each answer shows the tables, queries and filters behind it. Data owners can review or pin a definition; everyone else gets a straight answer.
