Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Blunox, Inc. ("Blunox", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites and products, including the Mira and Pulse platforms. We designed our products so that your data stays in your cloud — and we hold ourselves to the same standard with the limited information we do process.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you provide — account details, name, work email, company, and the contents of demo requests or support messages.
  • Usage data — product telemetry such as features used, pages viewed, and diagnostic logs, used to operate and improve the service.
  • Customer data — pipeline definitions, metadata, and configuration you create in the product. With pushdown execution, your underlying warehouse data is processed in your own cloud and is not copied to Blunox.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, respond to requests, send service and (where permitted) marketing communications, meet legal obligations, and improve our products. We do not sell personal information.

3. Data residency & pushdown

Blunox executes transformations and replication via pushdown inside your connected platforms (e.g. BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift). Your business data remains in your cloud; Blunox processes pipeline metadata and the credentials required to orchestrate execution.

4. Sharing & subprocessors

We share information only with subprocessors that help us operate the service (such as cloud hosting and analytics providers), bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations, or when required by law. A current list of subprocessors is available on request.

5. Security

We maintain security controls (SOC 2 Type II audit underway), encrypt data in transit and at rest, enforce role-based access and least privilege, and log administrative actions. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

6. Data retention

We retain account and configuration data for as long as your account is active, and audit logs for up to seven years where required. You may request deletion of your personal information subject to legal retention obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

8. International transfers

Where information is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Enterprise customers may select regional deployment (US / EU / AU) for data residency.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and where appropriate we will notify you directly.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to privacy@blunox.com, or by mail to Blunox, Inc., Privacy Office. For a tailored review, book a demo and ask for our security team.
